Improvement of Flotation Method for Copper molybdenum Separation Inhibitor


In the beneficiation process of copper molybdenum separator, the difference of sulfur content and floatability affects the whole flotation process, and the indicators have a great impact. The existing technologies include closed circuit grinding, copper molybdenum mixed flotation and separation, and sulfur flotation.
Before I came here, I chose the factory to produce stably according to this technology for more than ten years. The grade of copper concentrate is about 12%, and the recovery rate of copper concentrate is 55%. The grade of molybdenum concentrate is above 45%, and the recovery rate of molybdenum concentrate is 78%.
After I was assigned to our factory as the technical director, I found that there was something that could be improved in technology, so I adjusted the dosage of the two agents. With the change of dosage, the grade of copper concentrate is more than 18%, and the recovery rate of copper concentrate is 82%. Molybdenum concentrate grade and recovery remain unchanged. I was not satisfied with the improvement of copper recovery rate, and tried to strengthen the copper capture of copper molybdenum mixed flotation, but the flotation conditions of separation work deteriorated during the process, and the overall index did not rise. Process indicators seem to have peaked. However, instead of giving up, I tried to use the less popular float method.
Sure enough, the whole process is very simple and power saving is obvious. The copper recovery rate is about 90%, and the copper concentrate grade is above 18%. The recovery rate of molybdenum concentrate is about 82%, and the grade of molybdenum concentrate is above 46%. I am very satisfied with the results of my flotation technology improvement.
The research and application status of copper molybdenum separating agent in the common separation process of copper pyrite are introduced from the aspects of preferential flotation process, isofloatable process and floatation mixing process; The research and application of new collectors and new agents (including inorganic composite agents and new organic agents) are introduced, and the research and application status of foaming agents are briefly described; It is pointed out that the development of new non-toxic flotation reagents and the study of electrochemical flotation are important directions for the development of copper sulfur flotation technology.
Copper molybdenum separator is a metal with many excellent characteristics, which is widely used in all walks of life. China has rich copper ore resources, but lacks high-grade and optional copper ore resources. A large number of copper ore resources are low-grade oxidized copper ore resources and complex associated copper ore resources. Copper pyrite resource is a very common associated copper resource. The main copper ore is chalcopyrite, and the main sulfur bearing mineral is pyrite. The separation method is mainly flotation, which uses the difference of mineral surface hydrophobicity for separation. In view of the difficulties in the beneficiation of complex copper sulfur ores, it is of far-reaching significance to find a reasonable beneficiation process and improve the comprehensive utilization rate of copper sulfur ores.
